China Contemporary

China Contemporary offered a richly illustrated, interdisciplinary overview of the People’s Republic’s contemporary art, architecture and visual culture. It presented the work of 20 Chinese artists, various projects by 18 Chinese architecture firms, and a survey of Chinese visual culture, including television, the Internet, magazines, fashion and graphic design.

China Contemporary appeared on the occasion of the exhibitions in the Netherlands Architecture Institute, Museum Boymans van Beuningen and the Nederlands Fotomuseum.
